Privacy policy

Quackbit is built to keep your information to yourself. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising, and no analytics.
What we collect
Nothing. Quackbit does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. We do not run servers that receive your habits, and there is no third-party analytics or tracking SDK in the app.
Where your data lives
The habits you create and the progress you log are stored on your device. If iCloud is available and you leave sync on, that data is also stored in your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit), tied to your Apple ID and governed by Apple’s privacy policy. We have no ability to read it.

If you add a reminder, Quackbit asks for permission and schedules a local notification on your device. Reminders are scheduled and delivered by the system; no reminder data leaves your device for that purpose.
Widgets
Home Screen and desktop widgets read the same on-device data as the app, through a shared container on your device.
Diagnostics
If you have opted in to share diagnostics with Apple, Apple may provide us aggregate, anonymized crash reports through App Store Connect. These are controlled by your device settings, not by Quackbit.
Children
Quackbit is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your control
You can delete any habit and its history inside the app. Deleting the app removes its local data. To remove synced copies, manage Quackbit’s iCloud data in your device’s settings or at icloud.com.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Because the app collects no data, we do not expect meaningful changes.
